International Foil Drive™ Orders: Currency & Import FeesUpdated a year ago

I'M VIEWING THE PRICE IN MY LOCAL CURRENCY. WHY DOES THE ORDER CHANGE TO AUD WHEN I CHECKOUT?

We often get e-mails from international customers who are confused about the way their credit/debit cards or bank accounts will be charged when paying in AUD.

When you place your order on the website, you are able to view the costs in your currency (for example: US Dollars). Once you reach the check out, the cost will be converted back to Australian Dollars (AUD) for processing.

Note: Once you process your payment, your bank will apply their rates for AUD - to - your currency.

WHICH CURRENCY WILL I BE CHARGED IN?

All orders (both on the website and invoiced) are made in Australian Dollars (AUD).

Note: When you pay us, your bank or credit card company will convert this to your currency using the rates they guarantee.

To find out more about the rates and charges we recommend you contact your bank or credit card company.

If you'd like to see what your approximate conversion rate may be then we recommend using a currency converter such as this one Currency Converter.

Note: If you use this, please make sure you select the correct currency to convert to.

CUSTOMS DUTIES, TAXES, VAT

1. All international orders are shipped from Australia under CIP terms, meaning all local customs duties, taxes, VAT etc are the responsibility of the Importer (you).

2. Unfortunately, Foil Drive™ does not have any visibility over this process as it is dealt with on behalf of your local Country by FedEx or by your local customs authorities directly with you as the importer.

This means you will receive an e-mail from FedEx or your local customs authorities with the requirement to pay the IMPORT charges for your order.

Note: Foil Drive™ will not pay for any local customs charges or taxes on your behalf nor falsify the value of the good exported on the commercial invoice.
