Controller Telemetry Incorrect or MissingUpdated 6 months ago

If your controller is not showing accurate battery percentage or any telemetry data, the battery serial number setting in the controller is likely incorrect, or the VESC comm setting has been turned off.

WIRELESS CONTROLLER FEATURES

1. Power button

2. Throttle trigger

3. Cruise control trigger

NO TELEMETRY DATA SHOWING ON CONTROLLER

Instructions:

1. Turn on your controller (1)

2. Press and hold cruise control trigger (3) for 3-5 seconds to release LCK feature

3. Press and hold cruise control trigger (3) and quick press power button (1)

4. Toggle down to option 7. VESC Comm by quick pressing the power button (1)

5. Press and hold power button (1) to select 

6. Toggle the asterisks to *on by pressing the power button (1)

7. Press and hold power button to save (1)

8. Press cruise control trigger (3) twice to exit menu.

Battery Serial Number Required Each Battery

a) Assist & Assist PLUS - '8'

b) Assist MAX Power and Sport - '11'

c) Assist SLIM Performance - '11'

d) Assist SLIM Endurance - ' 8'

How to Change Battery Serial Number 

Instructions:

1. Turn on the controller (1) 

3. Hold down cruise control trigger (3) and single press the power button (1) to enter the menu, 

4. Once in the menu, let go of the trigger (3).

5. Toggle the menu pressing (1) in short bursts until your reach 5. Batt. Ser Num

6. Long press (1) to enter selection.

7. Short Press (1) to toggle the number relevant to the battery type you are using (see above)

8. Press cruise control trigger (3) to save. 

9. Press cruise control trigger (3) to exit menu.

Your controller has now been reconfigured to your unit.
