The Foil Drive Gen2 Assist SLIM battery range gives riders the choice between lightweight performance, extended runtime and travel-friendly portability.

Choose the battery that best suits the way you ride, from the punchy performance of the Slim Performance Battery to the increased runtime of the Slim Endurance Battery or the convenience of the Slim Travel Battery.

All SLIM batteries are compatible only with the Foil Drive Assist SLIM.

Slim Performance Battery

The Slim Performance Battery is the smaller SLIM battery, with a 166 Wh capacity.

Designed for riders who prioritise a lightweight, punchy and high-performing setup, the Performance Battery delivers a responsive ride at the cost of reduced runtime compared with the larger SLIM batteries.

As with all Gen2 Foil Drive batteries, the Slim Performance Battery is IP68 rated, providing increased protection against water and dust.

The single power plug contains larger connectors that provide power to the Foil Drive unit and smaller connectors for charging the battery. The included dust cap provides additional protection during storage and transport.

Important: Use the 40V Charger with the Slim Performance Battery.

Slim Endurance Battery

The Slim Endurance Battery is the larger SLIM battery, offering 241 Wh of capacity for riders who want to maximise their runtime.

The increased capacity provides longer riding time with the Assist SLIM. However, its lower system voltage means it does not provide the same level of thrust and overall ride experience as the Slim Performance Battery.

Important 28V Battery Information

The Slim Endurance Battery is the only Gen2 Foil Drive battery that operates on a 28V system.

You must use the 28V Standard Charger 4A with this battery.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CHARGE THE SLIM ENDURANCE BATTERY WITH A 40V CHARGER.

Before using the Slim Endurance Battery, you must read the Critical Battery Configuration information to ensure the battery is configured and used correctly.

Slim Travel Battery

The Slim Travel Battery allows you to take your Foil Drive Assist SLIM with you when travelling to your favourite riding destinations.

Designed to make airline travel easier, the battery breaks down into two smaller sections:

• 81 Wh section
• 97.2 Wh section

With a few simple screws, the two sections can be quickly reassembled into a complete battery for storage, charging and use.

Once assembled, the Slim Travel Battery provides approximately 178 Wh (4.5 Ah) of capacity, giving it slightly more capacity and runtime than the Slim Performance Battery.

Longer D Nose Cone

Due to the additional length created by the connector sections, the Slim Travel Battery requires the longer D Nose Cone for use with the Assist SLIM.

Important Travel Battery Information

Compatibility: Assist SLIM only.

Charging: The Slim Travel Battery must be charged using a 40V Foil Drive charger.

The Slim Travel Battery cannot be charged with the 40V Fast Charger.

Assist Mode Only

Can the Slim Travel Battery be used for e-foiling or constant power?

No. The Slim Travel Battery is designed for Assist mode only and is not suitable for continuous-powered e-foiling.

Airline Travel

The Slim Travel Battery is designed to separate into sections below 100 Wh for airline travel.

Which SLIM Battery Is Right for You?

Choose the Slim Performance Battery if you want the lightest, most responsive and highest-performing ride and don't need maximum runtime.

Choose the Slim Endurance Battery if your priority is longer runtime and you are comfortable with the lower thrust characteristics of the 28V system.

Choose the Slim Travel Battery if you want to take your Assist SLIM overseas and need a battery that can be separated into smaller sections for airline travel.
