Standard Two Blade Propeller
The Two Blade Aluminium Propeller is the standard propeller system.
It provides a great balance of:

For most riders and setups, the 2-Blade system is the best all-round option.
It is particularly well suited to riders who want maximum speed and battery efficiency, or who primarily use their Foil Drive for assisted take-offs rather than sustained e-foiling.
Optional Three Blade Propeller
The Three Blade Propeller Hub is designed for riders who need more low-end torque and thrust.
The additional blade allows the motor to generate more thrust at lower speeds, helping the rider accelerate onto foil more easily.
This can be particularly beneficial for:
- Heavier riders
- Low-volume or sinker boards
- Smaller or higher-aspect foil setups
- Riders who need additional power to get onto foil
- Riding in conditions where maintaining speed during take-off is difficult
The 3-Blade system can also reduce cavitation, resulting in a quieter and smoother motor experience.

The increased load on the motor means the battery will generally drain faster. How much this affects runtime depends on how the system is used. Short bursts of additional power will have a much smaller impact than prolonged high-power use.
Thermal limits in e-foil mode
The 3-Blade system should not be operated at 100% throttle for extended periods in e-foil mode. Sustained maximum power can cause the electronics to heat up and enter thermal protection mode.
Which Should I Choose?
Choose the Two Blade if you:
- Want the best all-round performance
- Prioritise top-end speed
- Want maximum battery efficiency
- Primarily use Foil Drive for assisted take-offs
- Already have plenty of low-end power for your setup
Choose the Three Blade if you:
