The RRD x Foil Drive Integrated Mast range brings this design philosophy together with Foil Drive technology, creating a purpose-built foil platform with a clean, streamlined integration.
Unlike traditional add-on systems, these masts feature a fully integrated Motor Pod and internal cable routing, creating a clean hydrodynamic profile with reduced drag, improved efficiency and a refined feel on the water.
The range includes two configurations designed for very different riding styles: Assist Alu for powered take-offs followed by free-foiling, and E-Foil Alu for continuous powered riding.
Assist Mast
Assistance when you need it. Freedom when you're flying.
The RRD Assist Mast is designed for riders who want Foil Drive assistance when they need it, without compromising the natural feel of unpowered foiling once they're up and riding.
The Motor Pod is positioned 18cm below the board, allowing the propeller to lift clear of the water once you're on foil.
This creates a setup that delivers instant power for getting onto foil, while allowing the motor to move out of the water for a cleaner, more efficient free-foiling experience.

18cm Motor Pod position
The Motor Pod is positioned 18 cm from the top of the mast, allowing the propeller to clear the water when riding on foil.
The aluminium Motor Pod is robot welded for consistent construction and durability.
Fully integrated wiring
All wiring is routed internally through the mast for a clean setup.
Zero external cables
The integrated design eliminates exposed cables around the mast, reducing clutter and maintaining a streamlined profile.
E-Foil Mast
Continuous power. Maximum control. 
The RRD E-Foil Alu Mast is designed for riders who want continuous powered riding.
Unlike the Assist configuration, the Motor Pod is positioned at the base of the mast, keeping the propeller submerged throughout the ride.
This provides uninterrupted thrust, making it ideal for dedicated e-Foiling, cruising and longer powered sessions.
