Inline Battery Checker for Foil DriveUpdated 2 months ago
The Foil Drive inline battery checker can display the battery capacity and state of charge of your Foil Drive battery. This checker is available in both 28v and 40v versions to suit the battery that you own. Ensure that you purchase the correct inline checker for your battery voltage.
40v Battery Checker suits a MAX Power, MAX Sport, and Slim Performance.
28v Battery Checker suits a Standard PLUS, Small PLUS, and Slim Endurance.
Using the Battery Checker
If you wish to check the state of charge on your battery, simply plug the inline checker in to the side of your battery. The state of charge will display on the screen.
When the inline checker is plugged into both the battery and charger while the battery is charging, the state of charge will bump up around 5-10%, and display slightly higher than the actual reading. The reading will return to normal once the charger has been unplugged.
This means you should use the solid green light on the charger to confirm a complete charge, rather than a 100% readout on the battery checker.
By tapping the power button, the voltage of your battery will display. To learn more about testing the voltage of a Foil Drive battery or charger, click here.
Ensure not to leave the battery checker plugged in to your battery as it will draw continuous power and can run the battery flat.
