How to install a V2 motor on an integrated mastUpdated 2 hours ago

This guide will help you correctly install your motor to your new integrated mast and ensure everything is securely fitted before heading in the water.

Before You Begin

Before installation, confirm you have all required components:

• Integrated Mast (Carbon or V2 aluminium)
• M5 Titanium split bolt (supplied with mast)
• 4x M4 mast-to-puck bolts (supplied with mast)
• 3x M4 motor plug bolts (supplied with Foil Drive system)
• V2 Foil Drive motor (Standard or High Power, with removable cable)

If this is your first Foil Drive installation, we recommend reviewing the full system manual alongside this guide. 

Having difficulty getting the puck forward to instal the stator? You can remove the small 4 bolts on the base plate to release the tension on the cable, to allow it to move more freely inside the mast. These bolts are unique to the brand of mast you have purchased, please take your time to prevent stripping these bolts.
