If your v3 controller screen is frozen, unresponsive, or not reacting to button inputs, follow the steps below to restore normal operation.
1. Try Exiting the Current Screen
Before performing a reset, attempt to exit the current menu or page.
- Press and hold the – (minus) button for 3 seconds
- This should take you back to the previous screen or home menu
- Check if normal navigation is restored
2. Factory Reset (If Screen Is Frozen)
If the controller is still unresponsive or the screen remains frozen, perform a factory reset.
Steps:
- Press and hold + (plus)
- Press and hold – (minus)
- Press and hold the B button
- Hold all three buttons at the same time
- The controller will quickly initiate a factory reset
3. After Reset
Once the reset is complete:
- The controller should return to the home screen
- Normal navigation should be restored
- Re-check that buttons and menu functions respond correctly
4. If Issues Persist
If your controller is still frozen or not responding after a reset:
- Try the reset process again
- Ensure buttons are being fully pressed simultaneously
- Check for water ingress or debris around buttons
- Contact Foil Drive support or your local dealer for further assistance
