This guide explains how to factory reset your Foil Drive V2 Controller and basic calibration checks to ensure correct throttle operation.

Factory Reset 

Steps:

1. Ensure the controller is powered OFF
2. Press and hold both triggers (left + right)
3. While holding both triggers, turn the controller ON
4. Wait for the blue bars to appear briefly
5. Release triggers once reset completes

Result:

• Controller is now restored to factory default settings
• All custom settings will be cleared

After Reset – Calibration Check

After completing a factory reset, always verify throttle operation.

Throttle Check:

• Turn controller on normally
• Pull trigger from 0% → 100% → back to 0%
• Ensure smooth, full-range response
• Check for smooth response with no jumps or dead zones

If You Experience Issues

If throttle response is not correct after reset:

• Repeat the factory reset process once more
• Ensure triggers are fully released before powering on
• Check for salt or debris around trigger area
• Rinse gently with fresh water if needed and allow to dry

If issues persist, replacement of the trigger mechanism may be required. Reach out to your local dealer or Foil Drive Support for further assistance.
