The Armstrong x Foil Drive Integrated Carbon Mast redefines what is possible with powered foiling. This setup is purpose-built to reduce drag and unlock a smoother ride from take-off to touchdown. 


Looking to order the Armstrong Mast?

The Armstrong mast is available on the 795mm Carbon Mast with two motor position options. Note, motor height is measured from the top of the mast plate, to the centre of the motor pod:

 
Foil Assist at 185mm
E-Foil at 650mm


The Carbon Armstrong Integrated Mast is only available through Armstrong direct or their network of approved dealers. If you're new to Foil Drive, you'll need to buy your motor system from us, and the mast from Armstrong.

Installation Guide for Foil Drive x Armstrong Integrated Mast

If you are an existing Foil Drive Rider (You own a MAX or Slim System)
The Armstrong Integrated Mast is compatible with V2 Foil Drive Motors, both Standard and High Power. If you already own a V2 Motor (With removable cable), simply remove the puck and follow the below installation information 

First time installing a Foil Drive?
There's some important steps both with installation of the motor, and the rest of the system. 
Please read the full system manual for installation instructions and system cleaning, maintenance and safety! The below instructions are specific to your Integrated Carbon Mast only. 

Additional Armstrong Installation Tips
Armstrong Masts boards are beautifully constructed with Carbon Fibre tracks and board layup, this can cause intermittent connectivity between your motor and your controller. More and more Armstrong Boards are becoming Foil Drive compatible, we do recommend checking out the below article to improve connectivity! What does intermittent connectivity mean? If you are engaging the controller, and the motor is not responding, or keeps cutting out, it is likely you'll need to check out the below information!

1. Ensure your tracks are filled with the supplied Mast Track Foam Inserts, Infront, in between and behind your T Nuts, the less water in the tracks, the better!
2. Refine your technique, controller placement for take-off can help
3. Consider the external antenna

M5 Titanium Split Bolt (Supplied with Mast)
4x M4 Mast to Puck Bolts (Supplied with Mast)
3x M4 Motor Plug Bolts (Supplied with Foil Drive System MAX or Slim)
V2 Motor Motor with Propellers (High Power or Standard)
Foil Drive System (Complete Kit with Controller and Battery)
