Warranty Terms and Ownership TransferUpdated a day ago

Foil Drive products are built and tested to high quality standards, however in the unlikely event that something goes wrong, our warranty provides coverage for manufacturing defects under normal recreational use.

This article outlines what is covered, how long the warranty lasts, and how to make a claim.

Foil Drive provides a limited manufacturer’s warranty covering issue due to a manufacturing fault, we will assess the issue and determine an appropriate resolution.

Depending on the outcome of your claim, solutions may include:

  • Repair of the affected product or component
  • Replacement of the faulty part or system
  • Credit or refund, where applicable

Warranty Period

Warranty periods may vary depending on your region:

  • 12 months in Australia, the United States and most other countries
  • 24 months in Europe

The warranty period begins from the date of purchase.

What Is Not Covered

The warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Battery degradation over time (expected with use)
  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or improper maintenance
  • Damage from accidents, impacts, or water ingress due to improper sealing

  • Modifications or unauthorised repairs
  • Damage caused by incorrect installation or setup
  • Commercial use outside intended recreational use

If a product has been altered, opened, or improperly maintained outside of Foil Drive guidelines, it may not be eligible for warranty coverage.
