Registering your Foil DriveUpdated 2 months ago

Some States and Countries may require a motorised craft to be registered with the local authorities.

It may be that in the jurisdiction (including state, territory or local council) you wish to own or operate the Products, certain registrations, licenses and other authorisations are required.

We make no representation as to whether any use of the Products requires any such authorisation, and you should consult all applicable local laws prior to using the Products.

As a consumer, it is your responsibility to ascertain if your Foil Drive will need to be registered in your local area, State or country.

Each Foil Drive system has a unique serial number on the inside of your Gen1 or Gen2 system which can be found inside the electronics box (see below).

In countries where the determining factor of registration requirements is power, we have attached a copy of the power output chart (below).

The Assist MAX is the most powerful system as of February 2024. In short, the maximum power output by our Max system is 1455Watts which is 1.95HP.

Gen 2 Power Settings and Power Consumption

The power of our system and each power mode / battery choice is listed in the table below. These power numbers are measured by independent power meter in a controlled test tank at the Foil Drive HQ. These settings are controlled by the Foil Drive App and can be changed by the end user.
