Does the propeller guard remove all risk?
No. The propeller guard helps to reduce injury by providing bump protection but does not remove all areas of risk, so it is important to not become complacent when using your Foil Drive, both in and out of the water.
Foiling can be a dangerous sport, and all due care needs to be taken! Motors aside, foils are sharp and can cause harm.
Who Is the Propeller Guard Good For?
The propeller guard can be used for leisure riders, children, or those who are learning as an additional safety feature.
What Are the Drawbacks?
Foil Drive propeller guards are not a performance upgrade and will, in fact, cause additional drag to your setup.
A propeller guard would perform best on an e-Foil setup when the props are always in the water, reducing noticeable drag.
What Are My Options for an Integrated Mast?
Due to the design of the propeller guard, it cannot be retrofitted to an already existing integrated mast.
Propeller guards can be built on to an integrated mast at time of ordering, contact [email protected] to discuss your options.
Propeller guards are now available to purchase on our website here, and in-store at your local dealer.
